India, Pakistan Become Full Members Of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation 

i. India and Pakistan became full members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), the first-ever expansion of the China-dominated security grouping after 2001.
ii. With the inclusion of India and Pakistan, SCO now represents over 40% of world population and nearly 20% of the global GDP.

iii. 2017 SCO summit was based on the theme “Future Energy”.

RBI Governor to appear before House panel on July 6 

i. RBI Governor Urjit Patel will appear before a Parliamentary panel on July 6 during which he is expected to be questioned about total deposits made in banks post government’s demonetisation move.

SBI cuts interest rate on home loans above Rs 75 lakh by 10 bps 

i. The State Bank of India, country’s largest lender cut the interest rate on home loans above Rs 75 lakh by 10 basis points (bps) to 8.60 percent. For salaried women borrowers, the loans will be offered at 8.55 percent.

ii. According to SBI, the new rates will be effective from June 15. The home loan rates offered are lowest in the industry.

SEBI clears Vikram Limaye as NSE chief

IOC approves new events for 2020 Tokyo Game

UDAN scheme: Tamil Nadu govt signs MoU with Aviation Ministry

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination, Psychological Aptitude Test, Intelligence & Personality Test and SSB Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to Pay Rs.100/- in the form of Cash in any Branch of SBI or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No Fee for SC/ ST candidates and sons of serving/ ex-Junior Commissioned Offcers/ Non-Commissioned Officers/ Other Ranks of Army and equivalent ranks in the Indian Navy/ Indian Air Force.

Instructions for Applying Online:

3. Click on “Online Application for Various Examinations of UPSC”.
4. Select the desired post & fill the Part I Online Application form by selecting the link.
5. Fill all the mandatory details and Submit.
6. After successful submission, an unique Registration ID will be generated, note it.
7. Make the fee payment and revisit the website.
8. Select Part II Registration and Log in yourself.
9. Fill all the mandatory details in Part II of Application.

       సింగరే ణి బొగ్గుగనుల్లో వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగాల కేసులో హైకోర్టు తీర్పును సుప్రీంకోర్టు సమర్థించింది. వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగాలు ఇవ్వటం రాజ్యాంగ విరుద్ధమంటూ మార్చి 16న ఉన్నత న్యాయస్థానం ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును సింగరేణి, రాష్ట్ర ప్ర భుత్వం సర్వోన్నత న్యాయస్థానంలో సవాల్‌ చేశాయి. ప్రధాన న్యాయమూర్తి జస్టిస్‌ జగదీశ సింగ్‌ ఖేహర్‌, న్యాయమూర్తులు జస్టిస్‌ డీవై చంద్రచూడ్‌, జస్టిస్‌ సంజయ్‌ కిషన కౌల్‌ల ధర్మాసనం సోమవారం విచారణ చేపట్టింది. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున అటార్నీ జనరల్‌ ముకుల్‌ రోహత్గీ, సొలిసిటర్‌ జనరల్‌ రంజితకుమార్‌, ప్రభుత్వ న్యాయవాది ఉదయ్‌కుమార్‌ సాగర్‌, సింగరేణి కార్మికుల తరఫున సీనియర్‌ న్యాయవాది పీపీ రావు వాదనలు వినిపించారు. సింగరేణి సంస్థ ఉద్యోగులు, సిబ్బందిలో ఎవరైనా స్వచ్ఛం ద పదవీ విరమణ చేస్తే వారి తరఫున కుటుంబ సభ్యుల కు ఉద్యోగం ఇవ్వాలన్నదే ఉత్తర్వుల ఉద్దేశమని, సాధార ణ ఖాళీల భర్తీకి ఇవి వర్తించవన్నారు. సాధారణ ఖాళీల ను సాధారణ నియామక ప్రక్రియ ద్వారా నోటిఫికేషన జారీ చేసి, భర్తీ చేస్తామన్నారు. ఇవి కారుణ్య నియామకా ల కిందకే వస్తాయని వివరించారు. సింగరేణి లో 3 కి.మీ. మేర భూమి లోపలికి వెళ్లి పని చేయాల్సి ఉంటుందని, దీనికి చాలా నైపుణ్యం అవసరమన్నారు. పూర్తి ఆరోగ్యంగా ఉన్నారని ధ్రువీకరించుకున్న తర్వాతే ఉద్యోగాలు ఇస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. మహిళలకు, వికలాంగులకు గనుల్లో పని ఇవ్వకూడదని చట్టాలు, తీర్పులు ఉన్నాయన్నారు. ఈ ఉద్యోగాలన్నీ నాలుగో తరగతికి చెందిన చిన్న స్థాయి ఉద్యోగాలే అన్నారు. ప్రభుత్వ వాదనతో ఏకీభవించేందు కు ధర్మాసనం నిరాకరించింది. రాజ్యాంగంలోని 14, 16 నిబంధలనకు వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగాలు విరుద్ధమని చెప్పింది. హైకోర్టు తీర్పులో 16, 20 పేరాల్లోని అంశాలను సమర్థిస్తున్నామని ఆ తీర్పే చెల్లుబాటు అవుతుందని తెలిపింది.

వేజ్‌బోర్డు ఆదేశాలతో
అనారోగ్యం పాలైన కార్మికుల కుటుంబాల్లో ఒకరికి ఉద్యోగం ఇవ్వాలని రెండో వేజ్‌ బోర్డు సందర్భంగా 1979 ఆగస్టు 11న ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. కొనసాగింపుగా 1981 జనవరి 21న చేసుకున్న ఒప్పందం ప్రకారం అనారోగ్యం తో స్వచ్ఛంద పదవీ విరమణ చేసుకున్న కార్మికుల వారసులకు సింగరేణిలో ఉద్యోగాలిస్తున్నారు. 1998లో వీటిని రద్దు చేశారు. అప్పటి నుంచి కార్మికులు పోరాటాలు చేస్తున్నారు. సీఎం కేసీఆర్‌ కార్మికుల డిమాండ్లను నెరవేర్చేందుకు ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చారు.

వారసత్వంపై ముందుకే!
వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగాలపై ముందుకే వెళ్లాలని రాష్ట్ర ప్ర భుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. ఆరునూరైనా వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగ హ క్కు పునరుద్ధరణకు కట్టుబడి ఉన్నామని ఇప్పటికే సీఎం కేసీఆర్‌ ప్రకటించారు. సుప్రీంతీర్పుపై రివ్యూ పిటిషన వేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. తెలంగాణలో 25 శాసనసభ, మూడు లోక్‌సభ స్థానాల్లో గెలుపోటములను సింగరేణి కార్మికులు, కుటుంబాలు నిర్ణయిస్తాయి. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు అనంతరం కార్మికులంతా టీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ వైపే మొగ్గారు. అందుకే తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగ హక్కు పునరుద్ధరణకు తీవ్ర కసరత్తు చేసింది. 18 ఏళ్ల కిందటే ‘వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగ హక్కు’ను సింగరేణి యాజమాన్యం నిలిపివేసింది. 4 నెలల కిందటే సంప్రదింపులతో వారసత్వ ఉద్యోగ హక్కును పునరుద్ధరించారు.

         ప్రస్తుత పోటీ ప్రపంచంలో ఉద్యోగం సాధించాలన్నా.. చేస్తున్న జాబ్‌లో ఉన్నత స్థానానికి చేరుకోవాలన్నా నైపుణ్యాలకు(స్కిల్స్‌) పదును పెట్టాల్సిందే. సాంకేతికంగా, స్వాభావికంగా జాబ్‌ నేచర్‌లో వస్తున్న మార్పులకు అనుగుణంగా ఎప్పటికప్పుడు స్కిల్స్‌ను అప్‌ డేట్‌ చేసుకుంటేనే సక్సెస్‌ సాధ్యమవుతుంది. అప్‌గ్రేడ్‌ కావడం అనేది నిరంతర ప్రక్రియ. అలా అయితేనే కెరీర్‌లో అనుకున్న స్థాయిలో చేరుకోగలం. 
         ఉద్యోగం లేదా ఎంచుకునే రంగం ఎప్పూడు ఒకేలా ఉండదు. మారుతున్న కాలానికి అనుగుణంగా నిరంతరం మార్పులు చోటు చేసుకుంటూనే ఉంటాయి. ఉదాహరణకు ఐటీ రంగంలో ప్రస్తుతం బిగ్‌ డేటా, క్లౌడ్‌ కంప్యూటింగ్‌, ఎఫ్‌ఎంసీజీ రంగంలో డేటా అనలిస్ట్‌, ప్రొడక్ట్‌ మేనేజ్‌మెంట్‌కు అధిక డిమాండ్‌ ఉంది. కాబట్టి సంబంధిత రంగంలో జరుగుతున్న లేటెస్ట్‌ ట్రెండ్స్‌కు అనుగుణంగా స్కిల్స్‌ను సమయానుగుణంగా అప్‌డేట్‌ చేసుకుంటూ ఉండాలి.

ముందు రీసెర్చ్‌
నేర్చుకోవడమనేది నిరంతర ప్రక్రియ. దీనికి సహనం, నిబద్ధత చాలా అవసరం. స్కిల్స్‌ను అప్‌డేట్‌ చేసుకోవాలనుకునే ముందు ఏయే అంశాల్లో మెరుగుపడాలి అనే విషయంలో కొంత కసరత్తు(రీసెర్చ్‌) చేయాలి. ఇందుకు ముందుగా మీలోని నైపుణ్యాలను ఒక నోట్‌ రూపంలో ప్రిపేర్‌ చేసుకోవాలి. తరవాత సంబంధిత రంగంలోని లేటెస్ట్‌ డెవలప్‌మెంట్స్‌ను మీలోని నైపుణ్యాలతో బేరీజు వేసుకోవాలి. దాని ఆధారంగా కొత్త దృష్టి సారించాల్సిన నైపుణ్యాలపై రీసెర్చ్‌ చేయాలి. ఏయే అంశాల్లో మెరుగుపడాలి, అందుకు ఏవిధంగా, ఎక్కడ శిక్షణ తీసుకోవాలి అనే విషయంలో మీ స్నేహితులు, సీనియర్లు, పరిశ్రమ ప్రముఖులు, ఆన్‌లైన్‌ రిసోర్సెస్‌, సోషల్‌ మీడియా వంటి మాధ్యమాల ద్వారా అవసరమైన సమాచారాన్ని సేకరించాలి. దాని ఆధారంగా నైపుణ్యాలను తీర్చిదిద్దుకోవడం మొదలు పెట్టాలి.

లేటెస్ట్‌గా
మీరు ఎంచుకున్న లేదా పని చేస్తున్న రంగంలో వస్తున్న మార్పులను నిశితంగా గమనిస్తూ ఉండాలి. ఒకప్పుడు ఎలా ఉండేది ఇప్పుడు ఏవిధంగా రూపాంతరం చెందింది అనే విషయాలను విశ్లేషించుకోవాలి. ఇందుకు చేయాల్సిందల్లా కనీసం రోజుకు 30 నిమిషాల సమయాన్ని ఆ రంగానికి చెందిన మేగజైన్స, న్యూస్‌ ఆర్టికల్స్‌, వెబ్‌సోర్సెస్‌, ప్రముఖుల ఆభిప్రాయాలను చదవడానికి కేటాయించాలి. తద్వారా సంబంధిత రంగంలో చోటు చేసుకుంటున్న నూతన పోకడల (లేటెస్ట్‌ ట్రెండ్స్‌)పై అవగాహన ఏర్పడుతుంది. మీ సబ్జెక్ట్‌ నాలెడ్జ్‌ను విస్తృతం చేసుకోవడానికి ఈ అంశం దోహదపడుతుంది.
