In each of the following questions, three statements are given followed by four conclusions numbered I, II, III and IV. 

You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts --

and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

1. Statements: Some pearls are stones. Some stones are diamonds. No diamond is a gem.

6.  Statements: In Japan, the incidence of stomach cancer is very high, while that of bowel cancer is very low.

All this is related to nutrition - the diets of Japanese in Hawaii are different than those in Japan.
