Chandra Shekhar Azad, the mere name that could make a British policeman during the British Raj era break into cold sweat. He was born on 23 July 1906, in Bhavra, Alirajpur. He died on 27 February 1931 at Allahabad. He lived for mere 24 years, but made a world of difference to India’s freedom struggle.
