After a gap of two years, the BCCI Awards were handed out in March 2017, to the top Indian domestic and international cricketers for their performances during the 2015-16 season. The BCCI Annual Awards ceremony was held on 8 March, the day after India won the second Test against Australia in Bangalore.

The table below has the recipients of the various BCCI Annual Awards for their performances in the various domestic and international competitions in the 2015-16 season:
Highlights:
*Virat Kohli has won the Polly Umrigar Award for the third time, having won the same award in the 2011-12 and 2014-15 seasons, for his performances on the international stage
*Ravichandran Ashwin has won the Dilip Sardesai Award for the second time, having won this award for his standout performances in India’s three-Test series against the West Indies in the 2011-12 series played in India
